2021-2022 Room Parents

Our HPS Room Parents provide a channel of communication between parents and teachers. These parents are a part of the classroom environment in the following areas: Organize class parties, act as the room basket lead for Spring Celebration, aid in teacher celebration, and assist in any teacher special requests. You are the front line for parents and we all thank you in advance for stepping up to do this!
Kindergarten Lunch and Recess Volunteers
Our youngest students are in need of some assistance during lunchtime. Tasks like opening cheese sticks, yogurt lids, and even putting straws in drink boxes can be challenging to little hands. If you could spare an hour of your time, please join our lunch and recess period to help make the most of this important hour of their day!

**Please note that by signing up for this opportunity below, you are signing up to assist ALL kindergarteners with their lunch and to help monitor ALL students on the playground during recess, not just your child.**
Grade Level Parent Orientation
Meet your child's teacher and learn about expectations and grading.

Kindergarten: August 23rd at 5:30 PM
1st Grade: August 25th at 5:30 PM
2nd Grade: August 26th at 5:30 PM
3rd Grade: August 26th at 6:30 PM
4th Grade: August 25th at 6:30 PM
5th and 6th Grades: August 24th, time TBD
HPS Restaurant Night: August 31 (4-9pm) at Dewey's Pizza Oakley Square
It's easy! Dine with Dewey's Oakley Square, mention Hyde Park School and up to 20% of all food purchases will be donated back to the HPS PTO.

Box Tops for Education
Many people don't even realize just how easy the Box Tops for Education Program is now that it has gone virtual. No more clipping and collecting a pile of Box Tops. Just download the Box Tops App, scan your grocery receipt, instantly identify Box Tops products, and automatically add cash to our school’s earnings online. You can also email your online receipts to earn credit. Box Tops are still worth 10¢ each for your school. This may not sound like much, but it adds up to hundreds of dollars!
Remke Rewards Caring Neighbor
With Remke’s Caring Neighbor program, sign-up and they will donate up to 2% to Hyde Park School for every purchase made when you use your Remke Rewards card. Register online at www.remkes.com and select “Hyde Park School PTO”.
