Spring Celebration is Coming Soon & We Need YOU!
|
On Friday April 17th from 7-11 pm the Hyde Park School PTO will host the Eighth Annual Spring Celebration at MadTree Brewing.
This Adults Only event welcomes HPS parents, staff, and community members to celebrate the accomplishments of our amazing school. The evening will feature a silent auction, raffle baskets, a student art auction, a cash bar, and hors d'oeuvres. It's the perfect opportunity to get to know other members of our wonderful community and have a Friday night out.
How can you help?
The Spring Celebration is also Hyde Park School's largest fundraiser of the year, and you can help firsthand.
- Plan to attend and book your babysitter!
- Become a family or business sponsor. Click here for more information, including the sponsorship levels.
- Donate items or services for the silent auction. Click here for more information.
- We need LOTS of volunteers. Volunteer opportunities are abound, suiting everyone's interests, strengths, and time constraints. Some volunteer roles include seeking donations from local businesses, creating raffle baskets, and helping on the day of the event. But there are many other options too. You can check out all of the available roles here.
Funds from this event directly benefit our children by bringing all proceeds to Hyde Park School. This helps bridge the gap between CPS funding and the needs of our students at HPS. In the past, funds raised have accomplished significant projects such as building the new playground our HPS children and the community use on a daily basis. This year, the money raised will fund field trips, playground upkeep, new technology, teachers' supplies, and much more. So start getting babysitters lined up for the
Spring Celebration on Friday, April, 17th from 7-11PM at MadTree Brewing.

HPS Eagles Sports Spotlight
The world of HPS Athletics is abuzz! Check out these highlights:
- Spring Registration is closed with great success. We had 325 unique registrations, setting a new school record for registrations in a season.
- We now have 6 sports under the HPS umbrella and 2 programs in partnership with Walnut Hills. These programs include soccer, baseball/softball, running club, volleyball, and lacrosse.
- Information will be coming soon regarding season details, practice info, etc. Be on the lookout for an email from your coach.
- As always, please visit our website frequently for updates and information:https://www.hydeparkschoolathletics.org/
- Don’t forget about Eagle of the Week nominations, which is an opportunity to recognize our athletes who display what it means to be an HPS Eagle student-athlete: hard work, dedication, sportsmanship, respect, etc..
- On the horizon – HPS Summer Soccer Camp and a Spring Pep Rally--Stay tuned!
Remember that being an Athletics Booster helps provide amazing sports opportunities for all of our students. It enables HPS Athletics to do things like purchase the new basketball hoops in the HPS Gym, host the Mom Prom, and provide supplies as needed throughout all the sports seasons. Please consider becoming an Athletics Booster Member today through
the HPS Athletics website.
