Happy Hyde Park Eagle Summer Reading Program

Or how about letting your kids become a little more familiar with their new teacher for next year by having them listen to that teacher read a book? Parents can access the channel via the link below. You can use any device to view the videos, even your cell phones!!! Eagle of the Week
This week we would like to recognize an entire team of amazing young men the passers team coached by Bob Welsh and some guy named Brugh. I (Mike Brugh) may be a little biased, but I would challenge you to find me another team that works harder as a group. And they’re only in kindergarten and first grade! It was amazing to watch these kids come together; they moved the ball, worked as a unit and took care of each other. When their undefeated season slipped through the cracks they could have easily given up on themselves. But they returned the next week to play the same team that beat them 2-1 the week before. After going down 2-0 early, things looked to be going badly but just as they’ve done the entire season, they came together as a team, fought back and played to the absolute best of their ability. They won 4-3 and did it respectfully and with amazing sportsmanship. They concluded their season today with another win, finishing with 7 wins and only 1 loss. As a team they scored 28 goals in just 8 games and only allowed 8 goals to be scored on them….THAT IS AMAZING TEAMWORK! So proud of this group of kids. Congrats boys, on Eagle of the Week.
