Classroom Spotlight
Second-Grade Field Trip

As part of their Social Studies learning, second graders visited  Parky's Farm  to learn more about 'Then and Now'.  They learned what life was like for children back in the early 1800s: a time when teachers were much more strict, the chores were harder, and nobody had an iPad!
A Visit from Peter Reynolds
The kindergarteners to third graders enjoyed listening to Peter Reynolds this week, as he shared some of his stories and illustrations at a special assembly! He is the author/illustrator of many family favorites, including The Dot and Ish, and is currently on tour for his new book The Word Collector. Thank you, Mr. Reynolds, for visiting HPS!
