Help with the HPS Wish Tree
As the holiday season approaches, we recognize that there are families in need at this time of year. The HPS office has set up their annual Giving Tree to help provide gifts to Hyde Park School families. If you would like to participate in this endeavor, please stop by the office and choose an ornament from the tree. Wrapped gifts should be returned to the office by December 14th. THANK YOU!

Lacrosse
Walnut Hills hosts a youth Lacrosse program and registration is now open. There will be a team for 3/4 Grade and 5/6 Grade teams for both boys and girls this Spring. As in the past, coaching will be by certified US Lacrosse coaches and Varsity lacrosse volunteers from Walnut Hills.
The 2019 registration fee is $85 and includes the 2019 custom game/practice jersey. Practices are tentatively scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursday evenings at 5:30 (at Walnut Hills HS) beginning February 19 - May 23. Games begin March 2 and occur every Saturday (for girls) and Sunday (for boys) through May. We try to avoid scheduling games over the CPS Spring Break and Mother's Day.

Eagle of the Week
Just a reminder, we are always taking nominations for Eagle of the Week. I know we are in a slow period for sports, but that doesn’t mean we can’t highlight the hard work or sportsmanship of our kids. To nominate someone, please email me at

Vision 2020 needs your help
We are now in the process of working on an ambitious program with Cincinnati Public Schools called Vision 2020. It's a school wide program aimed at dramatically improving the neighborhood school programs all over the city.
We would love your input on how we can improve how we serve our students and our community! Below is a SUPER quick survey that will help us make the best decisions we can going forward!
The cold weather is upon us, and with every extra layer comes an extra opportunity for our kids to leave something behind. Wondering where that sweatshirt or odd glove is? It’s probably in the HPS lost-and-found (not to mention water bottles, lunch boxes, soccer cleats, and more)!
The lost-and-found items are on display, on the basement level of the school, near the bathrooms/Ms. Hebert’s room. Please stop by and check for your child’s belongings, or, for your convenience, browse from the comfort of your own home by clicking here:
All items will be on display outside of the gym for our winter concerts. After the winter concerts, all unclaimed items will be donated.
