HPS International Night Needs YOU!
|
|
There are so many ways to help and participate...
- Be a representative! Have roots in an interesting country? Visited someplace you'd like to share about? Just have a weird interest in a faraway country? Be creative and and put together a tabletop display to share - that's all there is to it! Time to start Remember representatives get up to $50 to make your display, buy food etc for your country representation. If you would like to represent a country, please email Tina Best besttin@cps-k12.org with your name, your child’s name, and the country you hope to present.
- Buy a shirt! Spread love and kindness by sporting this shirt that celebrates our ONEness! Funds raised will help support the families that so generously give their time, energy and expertise to make our annual International Night such a success! Click here to purchase
- Volunteer your child to be a Customs Agent! We need some mature, responsible students to be helpers/runners aka "customs agents" to help with many things during the evening - handing out passports, guiding visitors around school, emptying trash, etc. If you think your child would be interested contact Tina Best at besttin@cps-k12.org
- Plan to attend. Feb 21, 5-7pm! Come travel all over the world without leaving our HPS building - taste, see and learn!

Eagle of the Week
Eagle of the Week honors goes to Jackson Green! As of last week, Jackson had not scored a point the entire year. Yet he is just as important and critical to the teams' success. He listens to coaches and does what he is asked without question. He plays aggressive fundamental defense, rebounds and passes with all his might. His individual effort not only provides the other players opportunities to score, it raises their gameplay to a different level. His heart is contagious! He never complains when its time to sit the bench, doesn't say a word about the position he's asked to play, or doesn't get discouraged because he hasn't scored. He is an extremely unselfish player and the perfect role model for his team, and all of HPS student athletes. Go Jackson, and go Eagles!
