Volunteer Opportunities
READ-A-THON Committee Volunteers
October is all about reading and our 2nd-largest fundraiser of the year. Seeking volunteers to help lead the READ-A-THON committee.

The committees main tasks center around communicating with parents and teachers through e-mail, newsletter updates, and flyers. Basic administrative responsibilities are stuffing folders, printing labels, and counting pledges at the end of the month. A binder with clear directions and a timeline are provided to help guide the Co-Chairs through the process. Support will also be in place fromthe rest of the PTO Board to help wherever needed.

If you are interested in volunteering for this position, please contact Malinda Uetrecht at  muetrecht@gmail.com

Seeking a book fair coordinator for next year! Seems a bit early but think of this...if you volunteer now you can shadow Laura Coon, this years coordinator and it'll make your job next year so much easier! Next year you'd be committing to a little work (~10 hours) the month prior to the week of book fair and then overseeing the week of book fair and those volunteers. Book fair is mid October!

If you are interested in volunteering for this position, please contact Malinda Uetrecht at  muetrecht@gmail.com

It is such a joy to see all the kids enjoying the AMAZING new playground and play yard. We have had some slight delays with our equipment, but we now are ready to start constructing the sports court!
Starting next week the court will be painted and striped and we kindly ask that everyone remain off of the surfacing as it cures . Once the paint has dried the multi-sport goals will be installed. Please note that some of the pieces may be damaged or missing from issues with our shipment, but we promise this will all be resolved as quickly as possible.
Please review the following rules and remind your kids so we can all enjoy the space for many years to come!
  • Use of the playground is welcome when school is not in session. School Hours: M-F 7:45 A.M. – 2:15 P.M.
  • Play area closes at dusk.
  • This equipment is designed to serve children between the ages of 5-12 years old. Use playground at own risk.
  • No bike riding, rollerblading, skateboarding, or scooters.
  • No pets allowed. If you walk your dog to pickup, please try to keep them on the pavement towards the parking lot side.
  • Stay out of mulched planting beds.
  • Please use trash cans and help us keep the playground clean.
  • Area under 24 hour video surveillance.
