Congratulations to New SHRM Designates

As of May 30, 2019, over 800 of Alberta’s Chartered members had taken advantage of the Mutual Recognition Agreement between SHRM and CPHR Canada. Congratulations to all our Chartered members who obtained an additional professional designation to use alongside the CPHR. This mutual recognition was especially advantageous for members who do work in the United States and for those who manage clients or direct reports in the American market.  The opportunity to apply through this agreement expired on May 30, 2019.

For those who now have a SHRM designation, please know that you must go through recertification directly with SHRM every three years to maintain your SHRM designation. Details on the SHRM recertification process can be found here.
