Although grief is typically perceived as an entirely dark experience, it has the capacity to ignite transformation, growth and expansion.

The Office of Employee Assistance's (OEA) new Fall webinar, The Hope of Grief, takes a deep dive into the psychology and neuroscience of grief. Grief can be a profound source of hope and one of our greatest teachers if we allow it to be.

The Hope of Grief challenges us to confront the unthinkable. While many view grief as only sorrow, pain, and yearning, it also pushes us in unexpected directions, testing our limits and reshaping our perception of the world.

Sign up for a 12 p.m. session below and explore how grief can foster transformation and support the emergence of a new sense of self:

“What mental health needs is more sunlight, more candor, and more unashamed conversation.” – Glenn Close.

Did you know October is the national month of depression awareness? The OEA invites you to the new Mental Health Matters virtual workshops to learn more.

Attendees will explore mental illness prevalence, stigma, risk factors, warning signs, emotional resilience practices, available resources and much more.
