Join Graduate Admissions on Wednesday, February 22, at 12 p.m. for a virtual information session exclusive to FIU faculty and staff. Topics such as misconceptions about graduate school, the application process, tuition waiver benefits, and other important information will be presented during this session.

The FIU Embrace Education applications for Fall 2023 are now open!

This is a three-year, non-degree, certificate inclusive, post-secondary, transition program for students ages 18-28 with Intellectual Disabilities (ID) and/or autism. The primary goal of the program is to offer a comprehensive and integrated university-based education that is inclusive and accessible. It also serves to promote competitive, integrated employment and independent living in the community.

This non-degree certificate program of study provides access and participation in a variety of program activities. It includes a system of support provided by faculty, academic and social mentors, an employment liaison, university-based resources, and other key project personnel. They work directly with students to ensure that individual and program goals are met.

The deadline to submit completed applications has been extended to Friday, March 3, at 5 p.m.

This policy is to ensure that:
a) international travel by employees and students is properly authorized
b) travelers receive pre-departure information on best practices, restrictions, and requirements as they relate to their foreign destination of travel, particularly those under heightened risk as classified in a Travel Advisory by the U.S. Department of State
c) health, safety, and security exposure as they relate to the traveler and/or the institution are minimized.
