The Great College to Work For® survey deadline is just around the corner! This is your chance to make an impact and show the world what makes FIU an institution of excellence. Only 600 individuals have been randomly selected to participate in this year’s survey. If you received the survey invitation and have already completed it, we THANK YOU!

If you were randomly selected but have not yet completed the survey, please consider submitting your feedback before the deadline this Friday, March 31, 2023. Make sure to search your emails in case you missed the invitation email that came directly from Great Colleges to Work For®.

Mark your calendars and save the date for FIU Bring Your Child to Work Day! On Thursday, April 27, you will have an opportunity to provide your future Panther(s) with insight into how your role contributes to the overall success of our university.

In addition, we are coordinating planned activities, for your child (ages 8-18), with our units that showcase FIU's outstanding programs. Does your unit have an enriching activity to feature? 

If so, please complete the unit participation form by Friday, March 31 to be included!

Humans are wired for connection! A key element of well-being, happiness, and fulfillment in life is having meaningful interpersonal relationships.

In the Harvard Gazette, Liz Meneo shared the following result of the Harvard Study of Adult Development: “Close relationships, more than money or fame, are what keep people happy throughout their lives. Those ties protect people from life’s discontents, help to delay mental and physical decline, and are better predictors of long and happy lives than social class, IQ, or even genes.”

These workshops will discuss what is a truly meaningful relationship. They will also provide tools and resources to develop and maintain strong social bonds. Register for a session below:
