   DOL's Paid Program 
April 3, 2018

The Department of Labor (DOL) has created a program designed to help employers settle overtime and minimum wage violations effective April 3rd.  The Payroll Audit Independent Determination (PAID) program is a pilot program that will last six months from the launch date on April 3, 2018.  Read more....

Productive employees that are happy in their work environment is something that most employers and HR directors strive for. When an employee takes time off, either a sick day or vacation, do they come back to you rested and ready for work? A study shows that 2/3 of American workers took at least a day off last year to take care of legal matters, that can range from traffic issues to trial defense, from family concerns to IRS questions, and so much more. So besides wages lost for the employee, the loss of production for the company and added stress to that employee; it's not a healthy work environment. If that person had a team of legal partners for any matter they might encounter, how much better (more productive and less stress) there would be.
