In May I took our first camping trip to North Truro, Mass., with my family and friends. We all were excited and nervous, as it was a camping field that did not have any luxurious facilities compared to when we traveled and stayed in hotels. We started planning and made a list of things we needed to bring for camping.

| Learning about Impactful African Americans; Jacob Lawrence's Art |
By TIFFANY HEARN
This is the first year that Juneteenth became a federally recognized and observed holiday.
As members of the greater (and beyond) Worcester area, we are lucky to view art from one of the most impactful African American artists of the 20th century, locally.
Jacob Lawrence was an African American artist who painted on chip board and paper using tempura or gauche paint in contrast to the “classic” idea of canvas and oil paint.
