Dear Catechetical Leaders and Youth Ministers,
Gov. Tony Evers has directed the Department of Health Services to close all K-12 schools -- public and private -- beginning Wednesday, March 18. He has further directed that all schools will remain closed for the duration of the public health emergency or until a subsequent order lifts this specific restriction.
In light of this, we too are
extending the cancellations
of all in-person religious education classes, in-person sacramental preparation (First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation), in-person youth retreats and in-person youth ministry events
for the duration of the public health emergency or until a subsequent order lifts this specific restriction
If you are able to utilize technology to continue having in-services via digital platforms for catechists or even to continue religious education and youth ministry virtually, we encourage you to do so.

We hope and pray that you, your families and your parish communities are well and safe. As your neighbors, we too share in the challenges and stretching that you are experiencing. We are all in this together, and even now, God is with us. You are all in our prayers. Please remember to pray for us as well. We will get through this together.
After all, Our God reigns!
