HRA Educational Foundation News

The HRA Educational Foundation has added an additional high school to our ProStart program!

The Foundation is proud to announce that Kahuku High School will be using the nationally accredited ProStart curriculum, under the direction of instructor Kregg Teichert.

This brings the number of Hawaii high schools participating in the ProStart program to twelve. The long-term goal is to have all Hawaii high schools utilize the ProStart curriculum ensuring a workforce perpetuity plan for our restaurants.

Happening this week! Have you pre-registered for Hawaii's Official Hospitality Trade Show on March 22-23, 2023 at the Hawaii Convention Center? The show provides excellent opportunities for creating new business leads, and networking.

Need employees? HRA members can receive a FREE booth at the WorkHawaii Hiring Fair on April 12th in conjunction with the Department of Education. In attendance will be this year's Graduating Seniors from 24 Oahu High Schools. Students will be bussed to the event, and they are anticipating several hundred to attend.
