Commercial Real Estate Association recognizes
local firms for excellence in development design
Annual Awards presented at program in Norfolk 
NORFOLK, Virginia The Hampton Roads Association for Commercial Real Estate presented 18 awards for Excellence in Development Design at their annual event earlier this month.

The HRACRE Excellence in Development Design Awards program seeks to identify and encourage those that have invested and continue to invest the extra effort to bring quality design and development to the Hampton Roads real estate community. A panel of industry experts evaluated 39 submissions and presented the awards at the event attended by 200 HRACRE members and guests.

The Juror’s Choice Award went to The Loos , submitted by Hanbury. This project also received an Excellence Award for Best Institutional Public Building.

Also presented with Excellence Awards :
  • Allan Myers Chesapeake Office (Best Commercial/Office/Retail Space) submitted by VIA Design Architects
  • The Savoy (Best Renovated or Historic Rehabilitation Project) submitted by Tymoff+Moss Architects and Speight Marshall and Francis
  • Administration Building/Botanical Gardens (Best Renovated or Historic Rehabilitation Project) submitted by: Hanbury
  • Zeiders American Dream Theater (Best Recreational/Entertainment/Hospitality Project) submitted by: COX, KLIEWER & COMPANY
  • Architecture Office (Best Interior). submitted by: Hanbury
