Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel (HRBT) Expansion Project
Weekly Lane Closure Report
Friday, May 21 through Friday, May 28
As part of the HRBT Expansion Project, construction crews will implement weekly lane closures, detours and traffic pacing on local roads, I-64 and the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel. Travel restrictions include possible delays, reduced speeds and detours in some areas. Lane closure, detours and traffic pacing are subject to change based on weather conditions and other factors.

HAMPTON
Daytime Lane Closures and Detours
Sunday, May 23 through Monday, May 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - daily
  • Alternating lane and shoulder closures on I-64 eastbound off-ramp to Mallory Street
 
Monday, May 24 through Tuesday, May 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - daily
  • Right lane closure on I-64 eastbound between Settlers Landing Road and Mallory Street

Overnight Lane Closures and Detours
Friday, May 21 and Saturday, May 22 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Alternating lane closures on I-64 westbound between Phoebus shoreline and Mallory Street
 
Sunday, May 23 through Monday, May 24 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. - nightly
  • Alternating lane and shoulder closures on I-64 eastbound off-ramp to Mallory Street

  • Right lane closure on I-64 westbound at 4th View Street
