SHARING TOWN INFORMATION:

**ATTENTION NON-PROFITS!

Town of Hamden’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Public Service Program. Beginning January 2, 2026, the Town will be accepting applications from eligible non-profit organizations for grants of $11,000 to support programs that benefit low- and moderate-income residents.

Eligible applicants must be non-profit entities with an active SAM.gov registration, and proposed activities must meet at least one CDBG national objective:

• Benefit to low- and moderate-income persons

• Prevention or elimination of slums or blight

• Addressing an urgent community need

Eligible public service activities may include job training, childcare, health services, homelessness services, senior programming, fair housing counseling, recreational services, and other community-focused initiatives.
