Heffernan Retirement Services Named PLANSPONSOR Retirement Plan Advisor Team of the Year
Just incase you missed our communication piece at the beginning of April we want you to check out our
article. We are very excited to win this honor. The winner was announced at the annual Awards for Excellence celebration on Tuesday, March 31st in New York City.
Heffernan Retirements Services was selected as the winner from over 100 entrants and 8 finalists. To be considered for the award, a retirement advisor team had to: have a majority of business revenue derived from employer-sponsored retirement plans, serve as a fiduciary, be committed to fee-based compensation and use outcome-based metrics of plan success with clients.
Despite the modest slowdown in the U.S. economy, the S&P 500 produced its ninth straight positive quarter during the first quarter of 2015 with a 1.0% total return, the longest such streak since 1998.
Defined contribution plan sponsors are rethinking ways to improve investment offerings in an attempt to elevate retirement outcomes for plan participants. The Towers Watson 2014 U.S. Defined Contribution Sponsor Survey revealed a few key themes.
