Dear CVHS Families,
We hope you had a wonderful Labor Day weekend!
We are holding a Virtual Post Secondary Night on Thursday, September 10. The CV High School Counselors have created several presentations and links (see below) to important
post secondary information for both parents and students. You can also email your school counselor with questions or call HS Guidance at 412.429.2270
For Parents of Juniors & Seniors:
We have combined all of our back-to-school forms into a single online Google Form for you to complete. All parents must submit a form for each of their high school students. If you have not done so already, please use this link to complete the online form: Click here to go to the Forms Page. Students do not need to print or turn in these forms, as the school will automatically get a copy of your submitted forms.
Both Hybrid and CV Cyber students must submit attendance on remote learning days using Infinite Campus. Click here for instructions, or click here for a video tutorial. If a Hybrid or CV Cyber student is unable to complete school work on a remote learning day, the student will be marked absent. Hybrid students who are absent on in-person days may either choose to work remotely (if healthy enough to do so), or receive an excused/unexcused absence (documentation must be provided for absence to be excused).
Below are links and information for online tools we use at CVHS for learning and managing student information like grades and attendance.
Infinite Campus allows students and parents to stay up to date on grades, assignments, attendance announcements, schedules and more.
Students should access Schoology using their school email address to "Sign in with Google." This is the same process used by students to log in to their Chromebooks.
Parents are encouraged to create their own account by using the Parent Access Code which is typically provided by the school when students begin 9th grade. If you have misplaced your Parent Access Code, please email Mr. Murray at email@example.com.
For help with how to navigate Schoology, please see the videos and handout below.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to principals, counselors, or teachers.
