The End of Workshops!

Workshops these past two weeks have provided students with lots of new opportunties, while additionally either pausing or continuing their studies of current classes! Students enjoyed learning how to create floral arrangements, games, holiday baking, coloring contests, exploring various healthcare occupations, and much more!

After winter break, we will be back to our normal schedules (with Green Wednesdays!) for the last three weeks of Term 2 / Semester 1!

Join us for Coffee on January 5

Thank you to the parents that were able to join us for our first ever parent coffee on December 1st! Our next parent coffee will be on January 5 from 9:30 - 10:15 am at HS^2! This informal opportunity will allow current and future Parents and Guardians to learn more about the school, with a focus on school operations, community partnerships, outreach, and volunteering. Please complete this google form if you are interested in joining us on January 5!

HS^2 Inclement Weather Plan

In case of inclement weather, HS^2 will switch to distance learning rather than having snow days. This document outlines the expectations of students for each class for 2021-22. If a student has a Legacy class, they will follow the instructions outlined by that teacher.

HS^2 Collected Over 1500 Items for the Waukesha County Food Pantry!

HS^2 recently hosted a food drive for the Food Pantry of Waukesha County and ended up donating over 1500 items of food! Each advisory group had a collection bin in their room for non-perishable food items. While the food pantry was looking for some specific items, other non-perishable food items and some non-food items were collected as well!

If you would still like to donate for the holiday season, you can drop donations directly off at 1301 Sentry Drive!

Interpreting the MyLC Maps!

The course content MyLC Maps are accessible to all students and parents through the HS^2 website. Under “Family Resources” there is a link to a general document that lists each subject and its corresponding MyLC Maps. While each teacher differs in their design of their MyLC Maps, there are a few commonalities. Course resources, a syllabus, a course calendar, and links to the units covered are found on every MyLC Map.

Last HS^2 Information Night!

HS^2 will be hosting our last information night on January 10. These meetings are for students and families who are interested in attending HS^2 for the 2022-2023 school year.
