The Best Buddies Club takes advantage of the nice weather this week and participates in an egg hunt on the track at CV. The Best Buddies Club includes special education students from both the middle and high schools, and is sponsored by our Speech-Language Pathologist, Ms. Stacie Vaughan.
PA Makes Change to Keystone Graduation Requirements
Earlier this year, the Pennsylvania Department of Education announced the following changes to PA Graduation requirements and their action on the 19-20 Keystone exams: "Use of the Keystones as a graduation requirement is postponed to the 2022-2023 school year. Any student who was supposed to take a keystone last year (first-time test takers enrolled in a keystone trigger course for 2019-2020) are determined to be proficient on that keystone if they passed the course."
Anti-Bullying T-Shirt Contest Winner
Congratulations to freshman Kendal Astor for winning an Anti-Bullying T-Shirt design contest! The goal of the contest was to create a t-shirt design that resembled an anti-bullying theme and answer questions that proved Kendal knew about bullying prevention tactics. New CVHS Pole Vault Record

CV Girls Basketball Team State Championship Runners up!
Congratulations to the CV girls basketball team who took second place in the state at the PIAA Championship game on Saturday. What a great season!
Aislin Malcolm - Youth of the Year Award
Congratulations Aislin on being named the Boys and Girls Club of Western Pa “Youth of the Year”! Youth of the Year participants embody the values of leadership, service, academic excellence, and healthy lifestyles. Candidates must complete a rigorous application and interview process to be considered for this prestigious honor. Aislin is now being considered for the Boys and Girls Club state award.
