Academic Challenge Team

Catch our incredible Bees on WEWS tomorrow as they compete for the season championship! The episode will air tomorrow, June 6th, at 11:30 a.m. on News. Track Athletes Head to State Meet

Congratulations to Annaliese Jacak (Discus), Anna Costin (800 Meter), Bailey Miller & Sasha Milanich (Pole Vault) for qualifying for the OHSAA State Track & Field Championships.

Qualifying for the state meet is a significant accomplishment and reflects the hard work, consistency, and dedication these athletes have demonstrated throughout the season.

Annaliese, Anna, Bailey, and Sasha will travel to Columbus this weekend to compete in the State Championships. We congratulate them on an outstanding season and wish them the best as they represent Brecksville-Broadview Heights at the OHSAA State Meet.

Outstanding Season for the Boys Baseball Team

Congratulations to our Brecksville-Broadview Heights Boys Baseball Team on an incredible season! The Bees qualified for the regional finals for the first time since 2009, finishing the year 17-6 and ending as regional runner-up.

During their playoff run, the team defeated several impressive programs, including Avon, Twinsburg, and the second-ranked Amherst, before falling in a close 6-4 loss to North Canton Hoover.

The Bees had an outstanding season and a great deal to be proud of. Congratulations to our Seniors as they have certainly left their mark on the program's history.

Senior Parking Paint Your Space: Spaces Remain!

Don’t miss your opportunity to reserve a personally decorated parking space in the Red Lot for the 2026–2027 school year if you are a member of the Class of 2027. Spaces are still available, but students are encouraged to act quickly, as reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.

The process to reserve a space includes:

Paying for the parking space (cash or check made payable to BBHHS PSO)
Submitting your personalized space design
Confirming the parking space application is complete
Selecting your preferred space
Completing the necessary paperwork

Eligibility requirements:

All school fees must be paid
The student parking application must be completed in advance

After July 1, BBHHS staff will add the $60 parking pass fee to each student account for those who purchased a personalized space. Families can then complete payment for the parking pass at that time.

Reserve your spot early to ensure you get your preferred space and show your class spirit!

Summer Counseling Assistance

Please be advised that our counselors will be out of the office for summer break beginning Friday, June 5th. Limited counseling services are available during the month of July. Please see the posted schedule below for appointment availability.

Counselors will return fulltime to the Guidance Office on Friday, August 7th and look forward to working with you as they return in August!

If you need assistance with summer academic or student issues requiring immediate attention, please contact the BBHHS Main Office. Your information will be recorded and passed to the appropriate administrator for assistance.

Summer Summer Reaading and Extension Assignments

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we want to remind you that several of our courses, particularly within the English Language Arts Department, require summer reading and extension work to be completed over the summer. This work is assigned to keep students academically engaged, limit skill erosion, and, most importantly, prevent students from being overwhelmed with large-scale assignments in the first few days of the school year.

Students are expected to have these assignments completed or very near completion within the opening days of the school year. We strongly encourage you to motivate your child to get a head start on their summer assignments to ensure a smooth transition into the new school year.

As we close the 2025-2026 school year, we are already gearing up for an exciting 2026-2027 school year! We want to inform you of some of the key dates at the start of the school year that are of interest to many BBHHS families.
