Deck the Halls
BBHHS is ready to Deck the Halls this winter season, but we need your help! If you have any unwanted greenery, lights, or any kind of winter decorations that need a new home, please consider donating them to BBHHS. We’re going to make our high school shine this season so our students and staff can enjoy the beauty of the winter months. Please drop off your donations to the Main Office anytime before the week of December 6th, making sure to mark that the donation is for Deck the Halls. These items will not be returned, so please be sure that you’re willing to donate that set of snowmen to be enjoyed for years to come. We can’t wait to see the spirit of this season on display in our BBHHS community! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Kelli Izzo at [email protected] or 440-740-4717.

Important High School Traffic Notice
Please be aware that the access driveway located between the baseball and softball fields will be closed starting on Tuesday, November 9th. Road repairs will be taking place and are anticipated to be completed the week of November 22nd pending cooperation of the weather. This closure will impact student drop-off and dismissal for student drivers as well as families who drive their child to and from school. Please plan accordingly in order to account for changed traffic patterns.

Fall Play: Almost, Maine
Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. It’s almost in Canada. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.

Please make plans to attend Almost, Maine presented by BBHHS Troupe 1260! Almost, Maine will be opening with a special maintinee production for our senior citizen community this Thursday, November 11th at 4:00 p.m. Two additional shows will be offered on Friday, November 12th and Saturday, November 13th. Tickets can be purchased (online only) using Purple Pass and cost $5 for house left or house right and $8 for center stage seating. TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW!
Parent Conferences
Thank you to all BBHHS families who participated in Parent Teacher Conference. We wanted to hear your feedback about the structure and effectiveness of the conference format as we make arrangements to plan for future Parent Teacher Conference evenings. If you attended either a virtual meeting or in-person meeting this past week we are interested in your feedback. Please take a moment to fill out the brief survey regarding conference night.
Yuletide Hunger Drive
BBH families will once again be participating in the annual Yuletide Hunger Drive. This is a wonderful cause that benefits members of our own community during the holiday season. Donations will be accepted at your school building from November 1 through December 3 and can be sent to school with your child or dropped off.  The BBHHS Student Council will be focusing our collection campaign the week of November 29th. Please only donate items from the list as those are the items most needed. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support!
