Senior Internship Information
We are excited for the class of 2024 to have the opportunity to participate in the Senior Internship Program. Senior Internship is an opportunity to participate in a meaningful, independent project within a career area of interest during the last three weeks of the senior year. Seniors can pursue practical educational experiences of interest to them. The program takes place from April 29th through May 15th. Review the guidelines HERE, and please turn in completed applications no later than Friday, April 12, in the Assistant Principal's office area.
We are also looking for community members who are willing to serve as community site career mentors for our students. Our students have a wide variety of interests, but particular areas of need are engineering, nursing, pharmacy, fashion, marketing, business, and sales. Students are required to complete five hours per day at the site, and the internship lasts from April 29th-May 15th. If you’re interested in serving as a community mentor, please reach out to Kelli Izzo at izzok@bbhcsd.org. We appreciate your partnership!

BBHHS Transitioning as PowerSchool as Student Information System
The 2024-2025 scheduling process has begun! We are excited to start using PowerSchool, our new Student Information Management System (SIS) that will replace ProgressBook entirely starting next school year. As part of the course scheduling process for the 2024-2025 school year, BBHHS students will be the first users to begin utilizing PowerSchool to select their course requests. Students will be able to access PowerSchool starting February 20th using their district-provided Google account single-sign-on feature.
During an extended Colony period held on February 20th, our current students in grades 9-11 will receive instructions from our school counseling team about using PowerSchool, essential information about course selections, and staying on track for graduation. Step-by-step instructions for families on how to use the PowerSchool course request tools are provided here. It is important to note that parents will receive their parent access at the start of next school year and must work with their children to review their selected courses. All schedule requests are due on March 1, 2024, for all 24-25 BBHHS students.
Provided below are links to scheduling resources that will be helpful to families as we begin the scheduling process. If you still have questions after viewing the resources provided, please do not hesitate to contact your child's assigned school counselor for assistance.
