Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! While we are indeed in no hurry to end the beautiful summer months as the calendar flips to the month of August, we start shifting our focus to the start of the rapidly approaching school year. We are excited to begin the school year and have enjoyed welcoming many of our students back to campus for activities and athletics the past several days.

To kick off the school year, our Athletic Department is excited to host the return of "Meet the Bees," an annual BBHHS tradition lost during the pandemic. This event not only allows us to fulfill the mandatory OHSAA season participation meeting requirements but, more importantly, allows us to come together as a community and meet our outstanding fall athletic teams. We look forward to seeing our fall athletic families this coming Monday, July 31st, at 6:00 pm at Bees Stadium.

Go Bees!

New BBHHS Administrative Assistant Ms. Dara Treter

We are excited to welcome Ms. Dara Treter as the new Administrative Assistant at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School. Dara is replacing Mrs. Michelle Cook, who was promoted to a position at our Board of Education offices. We wish Michelle well in her new position and are excited that she will remain in our district moving forward.

Ms. Treter most recently worked as an Admissions Assistant for the International School of Management, where she became interested in working in the educational sector. During the interview process, Dara stood out based on her customer service-orientated attitude and an overwhelming desire to ensure that students, parents, and staff feel welcomed and supported as they have in-person or phone interactions in our Main Office.

Dara is excited about this new role and looks forward to working with the community, students, and staff of BBHHS. She is a lifetime resident of Ohio and attended the University of Dayton. Dara enjoys reading, hiking, and cheering on her children in their numerous extracurricular activities. Dara resides in Brecksville with her three daughters, who all attend Brecksville-Broadview Heights Elementary School.
