Flames Parent Initiative

HSCS started a parent volunteer safety program called The Flames Parent Initiative earlier this year. THE FPI!

This program is designed to be an extra set of eyes and ears around the campus when our children are at Mass and recess. Our mission is to give teachers, staff, children, and parents extra peace of mind with our presence.

We are close to having full coverage which means that everyone can have a designated shift for each month (for example, 2nd Wednesday of the month, every month) .

We are excited to welcome Kassandra Rios to Holy Spirit Catholic School. She will be assisting Mrs. Gillen, in the library.

With that, we also bid farewell to Mrs. Ana

Mc Chensney. We thank her for her time here with HSCS.

Career Day

We are beginning to prepare for our upcoming Career Day on February 2, 2023 during Catholic Schools Week. On this day, our Holy Spirit Family will come together to "Celebrate Our Future" by taking time to listen to speakers from various career fields. It is a great time for our students to get excited about their future and the endless opportunities that awaits them.

This exciting event cannot be successful without you, so thank you for your YES! Your volunteer time is appreciated and this is a great opportunity to check off some of your required Parents As Partners hours.

To volunteer your time, please complete the following Google Form by Friday, January 20, 2023.

In addition to listening to our amazing Career Day speakers, students may wear their favorite College or University t-shirts or sweatshirts.

The Flames Legacy Gala 2023

Gala season is upon us! Our Flames Legacy Gala will be help on February 18, 2023 at The Westin San Antonio North Hotel. Save the Date!

Our Gala is always fun and memorable thanks to the participation from our families. Gala is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we need your help to make it successful. Click the buttons below to donate/sponsor accordingly.



Here are some ways you can help:

• Sponsorships - This is a wonderful opportunity for Holy Spirit-owned businesses and community members to spotlight your companies.
• Auction Items - We accept and appreciate donations to our auction. Think gift cards, stays at vacation homes, jewelry, etc.
• Wine Pull - Donate bottles of wine valued at $15 or more. You can drop them off at the front office anytime before Gala in February.



As a reminder, two open-seating tickets have been reserved for each Holy Spirit family, as this fee is included in your yearly tuition. Please note, however, that families must still register to attend. Be on the lookout for information on how to register for your tickets soon!
