Dear HSCS families,

Today, we inducted our newest members into our National Junior Society. We congratulate those students and our current NJHS members and wish them continued success (see link below of NJHS Members).

We have many HSCS red and navy hoodies in our Flames Trading Company inventory, priced at $5. These can be worn to and from school. They cannot be worn during the school day. These hoodies are priced to sell and will go fast, so please place your order today!

Please note a correction in our Uniform Dismissal Schedule from last week. Tomorrow, Thursday, April 14, 2022, students must wear their regular uniform.

A Message From The Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Tomorrow we begin the Triduum - the highest point in our church year. The Triduum is the short season that marks the end of Lent and leads us to the Easter season. The liturgical services that take place during the Triduum are:

Mass of the Lord's Supper- Holy Thursday
Jesus' suffering and death - Good Friday
Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord - Easter Sunday

Tomorrow at 1:30 p.m., our 8th graders will lead the school in praying and reenacting the Stations of the Cross in the church. It is a joy to bring back this most beloved and reverent church tradition with all grade levels in attendance.

May you and your families have a wonderful Easter. I pray that your blessings will increase and that the Easter season brings you love and peace.

A Message From Your Teacher Perks Committee

The Teacher Perks Committee has begun planning for Teacher Appreciation Week, the first week of May this year. They have an exciting week planned. The committee is happy to report that their week is fully funded. Therefore, no monetary donations or items are needed.

To ensure that there are no unexpected treats conflicting with their arranged plans, the Teacher Perks Committee kindly asks that you contact Desirae Ysasi or Patty Rivera ahead of time if you have any questions or plans ([email protected] and [email protected] ). The committee welcomes parent involvement but would like to seamlessly coordinate and maximize opportunities to integrate them into the week’s plans.
