Solidarity Day: Kind Like Jesus
On Tuesday, October 4, 2022, all Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of San Antonio are joining together by wearing "orange" to unite in faith, hope, and love against bullying.
HSCS students may wear an orange shirt, and or bow, with uniform shorts, slacks, or skirts on this day.
HSCS will be selling Solidarity T-shirts that read "Kind like Jesus" (see the graphic shown). These t-shirts can be worn on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, and every Friday in October 2022. Pre-orders can be placed online by clicking the link below. Pre-orders will close on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at midnight.
Please note the Solidarity t-shirts are not mandatory. We are merely offering them as a convenience for parents. An orange t-shirt may also be worn with uniform bottoms on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. We will be taking a school photo with all students, faculty, and staff on that day.

This school year, Holy Spirit Catholic School is starting a parent volunteer safety program. We call ourselves The Flames Parent Initiative. THE FPI!
This program is designed to be an extra set of eyes and ears around the campus when our children are at Mass and recess. Our mission is to give teachers, staff, children, and parents extra peace of mind with our presence. There are shifts during the day that you can sign up for and you can volunteer as much as you want or if you can only volunteer one time, this is ok too. Each volunteer must complete the Virtus training online before they will be able to sign up for shifts. FPI is in the works on organizing training for all volunteers and that information will be provided soon.
For more information please email Chris Buckley either in person or through email at [email protected].

Box Tops For Education
Did you know that every time you grocery shop there are opportunities for you to submit "Box Tops" that will help HSCS earn money?
All you need is your phone! Download the Box Tops app, shop as you normally would, then use the app to scan your store receipt within 14 days of purchase. The app will identify Box Tops products on your receipt and automatically credit your school’s earnings online. Twice a year, HSCS will receive a check and we can use that cash to buy whatever we need!
Click here to learn how you can contribute while you grocery shop this school year. If you have any questions please contact, Allison Ellis, PTC BoxTops Chairperson, via email at [email protected]. This user-friendly process is made so that you can shop and help HSCS at the same time.
