GET INVOLVED
Meal Train for Anna Courie - One of our newer parishioners needs our help. Anna Courie is the Chief Wellness Officer for Clemson University. She and her husband, Treb have been attending our 8:00 service since before they moved into their Clemson home last spring. Anna is fighting a recurrence of lymphoma, undergoing a 6-month course of chemotherapy. Her friends have set up a meal train through Give in Kind. Read about Anna's journey and sign up to provide a meal here. Meals are covered through August, but there are lots of openings in September and beyond. Keep Anna and Treb in your prayers--it makes a real difference!
UPDATE: Don't Miss Holy Trinity's Back-To-School Giving Corner, located in the narthex! We're collecting lunchboxes and snacks for children for Family Promise, backpacks and school supplies for middle and high school age boys for Helping Hands Shelter (click here for a list of needed supplies for H.H.),and food and paper products for C.C.C. Bins to collect donations for each are provided in the narthex. Back-to-school items will be delivered to their respective agencies next week, so get those donations in this Sunday!
The St. Paul's Committee is looking for 4-5 (or more) volunteers next Tuesday 8/4 to help finish cleaning headstones in the churchyard. GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
We have hired SEBRG to repair some window problems with our Nave windows. The work will be on the Rose window and the South (Hwy 93) side of the building. We will work with SEBRG to still have easy access to the church. The Chapel door to the Nave will not be accessible and will remain locked while they are working. They will probably be on-site 2-3 weeks.
IN THE COMMUNITY
Healing Bridges needs a volunteer receptionist on Thursday mornings from 9 to 1 at the 1200 Tiger Blvd. location. If you would like to volunteer, please view the signup here. A shift can certainly be split! Many of you have met Abby, who will be working at that location until we grow to add hours.
