CHILDREN AND YOUTH NEWS
PENTECOST We will be at St. Paul’s for one 10:30 am service. The 3 back rows at St. Paul’s will be reserved for families with small children, those receiving baptism, and their families. We will have coloring activities for children placed in these rows.
Friday, May 29 will be the next Family Fellowship Friday at Trinity Place. Bring the kids, lawn chairs and join other families for some laid back fellowship from 5:30-7:30pm. In the event of inclement weather, we will gather in the Parish Hall.
COMING UP
Benjamin and Wesley Lyle will receive the Sacrament of Holy Baptism this Sunday, May 24th at our one service at St. Paul's at 10:30 am.
This Sunday, May 24 is The Day of Pentecost. Join us for worship at St. Paul's at 10:30 followed by our annual picnic. (Weather Permitting). Please check the email 'Everything You Need for Sunday' on Sunday morning for a possible location change for the picnic in the event of inclement weather. Holy Trinity will provide the main dish, along with water, tea, and lemonade. Please bring a side or dessert with enough to share. Those attending the picnic will need to bring their own chair/blanket. And don't forget to wear red!
Our summer service schedule will begin this Sun, May 24th continuing through Jul. 26: One Sunday morning service at 10:30 am. We will continue to hold a service of Holy Eucharist at St. Paul's at 5 pm on the first Sunday of the month during June and July.
The church office and St. Paul's Thrift Shop will be closed Mon, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.

Men's Book Group: Our next meeting will be June 13th at 9 am at the Wheeler house, 201 Augusta Road in Clemson. Coffee and pastries will be provided. For this session, we will be discussing A World Appears: A Journey into Consciousness by the acclaimed investigative journalist and author, Michael Pollan. All are welcome, even if you have not completed the book.
GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Sunday School for Adults and Children, as well as nursery care, is on hiatus until August. There will be no early morning fellowship on Sundays during the summer. Lemonade will be available under the belltower following worship beginning June 7th. Volunteers for setup/cleanup are appreciated. Contact Jerae.
The St. Paul’s Committee Seeks Grant Writing Support: The St. Paul’s Committee seeks a volunteer to assist in securing historic preservation grants. Grant writing experience is helpful. Funding from grants will help enable the long-term preservation of St. Paul’s. Parishioners or community members interested in assisting may contact Andrew Baker (AHBAKER@clemson.edu), St. Paul’s Committee Chair.
