#HT Center For Justice Equity Hosts
Expunction Panel
The Huston-Tillotson Center for Justice Equity (HT CJE) hosted a highly informative and enlightening Expunction Panel in the King-Seabrook Chapel.
Panelists Betty Blackwell (Criminal Defense Lawyer), Rickey Jones (District Attorney’s Office), and Ruben Baeza (County Attorney’s Office) provided key insight and online resources to aid individuals who may have the ability to have elements of their official police record deleted forever.

AAMTI Participates In Austin ISD Meet And Putt
Huston-Tillotson University’s African American Male Teacher Initiative participated in the @austinisd Student Teacher Meet & Putt Event at Butler Pitch & Putt.
Students got the chance to converse, interact, and ask questions to the AISD Team and obtain valuable insight into achieving future success as educators.

Michaelis Named RRAC Soccer
Defensive Player Of The Week
Huston-Tillotson University women's soccer player Phoenix Michaelis was named as the Red River Athletic Conference's Defensive Player of the Week.
The freshman goalkeeper from Topeka, Kan., allowed only a single goal in a 1-1 tie through regulation and two overtimes. In the shootout that followed, Michaelis stopped the first two shots to help HT win over Houston Victoria on penalty kicks, 4-2. She finished the match with seven saves.

Aguirre Named RRAC Volleyball
Setter Of The Week
Huston-Tillotson University women's volleyball player Mya Aguirre was named as the Red River Athletic Conference's Setter of the Week.
Aguirre averaged 9.0 assists per set in a pair of matches for the Rams. The sophomore setter from Harlingen, Texas, contributed 32 assists and 14 digs in HT's 3-0 victory over University of the Southwest. Aguirre had 54 total assists for the week, and she finished the season ranked 75th nationally with 7.4 assists per set.

Seven #HTVolleyball Rams Earn
All-Conference Honors
Congratulations to seven Huston-Tillotson University volleyball student-athletes who earned Red River Athletic Conference accolades for outstanding performances this season.
Mckenzie Dimery (front) earned Newcomer of the Year and First-Team All-Conference honors. Danelle McCullough (far left) earned honorable mention honors, Kennedy White (second from left) earned first-team all-conference honors, and Mya Aguirre (third from left) earned second-team all-conference honors.
Kasani Horace (third from right) earned first team honors, Alexiana Williams (second from right) was named to the league's Champions of Character team, and Gabrielle De los Santos (far right) earned honorable mention honors.
