HTCIA Members:
I hope everyone is well and staying safe!
HTCIA has been busy moving forward! We are hosting more virtual training and even some in-person meetings once again!
I enjoyed the Canada Cyber Summit and looking forward to the 38th Annual HTCIA International Conference in Atlantic City, NJ! It was 20 years ago that we last held an awesome conference in Atlantic City and the current Conference Committee is working to make 2022 even better. We have awesome speakers and we will have The Nerds live to entertain the geeks! The event will feature speaker jam sessions, HTCIA Chalk Talks, the student paper contest, and many more opportunities to rock the days away at The Hard Rock. The support from our vendors was tremendous and we are grateful for their continued participation in HTCIA events. We SOLD OUT Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsorships and Bronze sponsorships are going fast! Learn more and register here:
The long-awaited new learning management system is now live and stands as a notable benefit for HTCIA our members. We already have more than 200 hours of training uploaded – and more is always on the way.
There’s a lot to look forward to throughout the rest of 2022. HTCIA as an organization is committed to providing our membership with the best ongoing professional high technology training available, “by investigators for investigators.”

We are so excited about the upcoming 38th Annual HTCIA International Conference in Atlantic City, NJ Sep 28-30th with a virtual day on the 27th. I had the privilege of touring our venue, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, earlier this month – and to say, “It Rocks!” is an understatement.
In addition to the fantastic presentations, keynote speakers, and awards dinner you have come to love – we are adding some fun elements! Wednesday will be all about the music – during lunch we will have an attendee jam session (bring your instrument!), in the evening The Nerds (the same Rock and Roll band that played the HTCIA event last time it was in Atlantic City 20 years ago) will rock the stage in our event space, and afterhours you are all invited to take the stage as part of Hackeroke!
The lunchtime fun will continue Thursday with a special Rock ‘n Roll edition of Whose Slide is It Anyway, where speakers will give an impromptu, improvised Information Security and/or Digital Forensics talk on 5-7 slides they see live for the first time in front of the audience. Thursday night we will have our annual Awards Dinner where we get to spotlight some fine folks who are making an impact.
Friday we will host a fun trivia game for all that has both digital forensics and music trivia! We can’t wait to learn, network and have fun with you all.

2nd Vice President
