Considerations for Optimizing Your Trajectory

In Denver this month, there were compelling themes that recurred in many of the groups:
  1.  What are the levers to drive business value creation in an MSP business?
  2. How should folks look at R&D and new technology areas - IoT, AI, Big Data, etc. - how much to spend - how to effectively identify true opportunities, etc.?
  3. What role will verticalization play in the next 5 years for an MSP?
  4. What other investment or business opportunities are being leveraged by MSP's to drive a diversified business value creation strategy?
  5. How should one view the balance sheet as a way to achieve business value?  How much to leave in vs. take out, etc.
No doubt members took away much good learning and insight on these from their groups. In this month's article, we'll add our perspectives to the discussion, for optimizing your value creation trajectory.
