Happy Holidays
May good and faithful friends be yours, wherever you may roam. May your neighbors respect you, trouble neglect you, the angels protect you, and heaven accept you. Here's a toast to the future, a toast to the past, and a toast to our friends, far and near.
Tip from the Training Room
Feeling Overextended?
Our communication and relationships are most effective when we are not in our overextended state.

When you find yourself overwhelmed and stressed here are a few tips to help you reflect and gain your composure.

Reflect:
1- Ask yourself what lead me to being overextended
2- What are you telling yourself at this moment?
3- What is physically happening to your body?
4- How is this impacting the people around me?

Action:
  • Take three slow breaths
  • Think about what shift in your mindset can help bring you back to composure.
  • What or who can help you get there?

Jill also has extensive experience developing and delivering a wide array of professional development courses and trainings in vocational programming, facilitation and in using an interest-based approach. Jill is also Certified Lumina Practitioner.
Pro-Bono Action Planning
HueLife is offering a FREE half-day Action Planning Session for 7 nonprofit organizations, civic groups, community partners and/or informal groups who are seeking facilitation support to advance their mission through participatory and inclusive processes.

Different from strategic planning, the Action Planning Process is a foundational Technology of Participation (ToP) method which enables you to help a group rapidly pull together an effective plan, organize needed resources and mobilize individuals’ energy into action. A group will:
  • Visualize a successful result
  • Analyze their current reality
  • Create a practical plan including a timeline of actions
  • Maximize a group’s commitment and involvement

Help us spread the word to organizations you know or are a part of!
