What did you find helpful in using the Action Planning framework?
Having a platform already set up for a productive meeting. Instead of a scattered brainstorming session, Cindy and I were able to use the tools learned in class and have an organized board set up and ready for use.
We were able to drive the discussion towards producing the clusters which eventually created the clearly defined “to do’s”
What were you anxious about?
Facilitating a class with coworkers & having “skin in the game” – making it very hard to stay neutral and not give input.
What lessons did you learn?
When someone in the discussion wants to make a change and may have a stronger personality, taking the time to make eye contact with the others to ask “do you agree with this change?”…..allowing everyone a platform to be involved and feel heard. We all have a different perspective and by allowing everyone a chance to give input, the outcome of the entire project is better because of this.
