UNDERSTAND & ENGAGE Conversation about returning to the office

·        One of the big questions of 2021 is, “do we return to the office or stay working remote?” This is a tough conversation that is fueled by a lot of passion. When thinking about how to go about making the decision, you may want to find a way to involve the team to provide the space for all voices to be heard. FROM THE TRAINING ROOM 5 Keys to Hybrid Facilitation

A question that arose during our July ToP Facilitation Course was, "How do we facilitate meeting when our some of our team members are in person and some are joining virtually?" In good participatory fashion, we turned the question back to the participants, asking them what they have tried and lead a consensus workshop on "What are the keys to hybrid facilitation?" The participants came up with these 5 keys we'd like to share with you to think about as you prepare for your next hybrid meeting.

In Loving Memory Courtney Lonergan

On June 10th, 2021 our ToP Community has been shaken by the devastated news that our colleague and friend, Courtney Lonergan and two of her children, Ali and Almira were killed in a car accident in Phoenix, AZ. Courtney was a beacon of light in every room she walked into. Always greeting you with a smile and a hug. She loved and believed in the power of people and devoted her life to community organizing work.   Courtney’s passion and life mission of empowering young people, building community, and developing community leaders is to be continued. Aracelli, the surviving youngest child, is surrounded by loving and supportive friends, who have been her extended family. There is nothing that will ever fill this void, yet the work Courtney did to bring up her children will be the source of strength for Aracelli.    One thing that the last year has taught us is that life is precious. Do something that makes a difference, love greatly, and leave a legacy. Join Our Community of Change Agents We wouldn't be where we are today without the support of community members like you.
