A German Requiem at Concordia
Last weekend, Mr. Brusubardis and our Concert Choir participated in Johannes Brahms’ A German Requiem at Concordia University. It was a collaborative effort with us, the Bel Canto Chorus of Milwaukee, the Kettle Moraine Symphony, Germantown High School, Shorewood High School, West Bend High School, and UWM-Washington County's Moraine Chorus. The 80-minute-long performance was directed by Richard Hynson and was sung entirely in German. The over 200 performers, including our students, have been preparing for this performance the entire school year and had over 90 pages of music to learn! What an incredible opportunity for our students to grow and expand their musicianship!

Staff Spotlight Recognition
Please join us in recognizing Ms. Wagner who was nominated for going above and beyond in playing a huge role in the success of her students. And, for giving her students the tools they need, encouraging them, and building their confidence.
She said, "My favorite part of my job is getting to know the needs of students and meeting them where they are at. Author Ross Greene states, "Kids will do well if they can, not if they wanna".
