Congratulations Taylor and Harsh!
Taylor Kutz and Harsh Patel were recognized as Hartford Rotary Club's October Students of the Month at Monday night's School Board Meeting.

Based on the popular film, Legally Blonde The Musical follows Elle Woods as she goes to Harvard to win back her ex-boyfriend. Along the way, she realizes that she can be a great lawyer while remaining true to herself. Hold on to your seats because this is the legal system as you have never seen it before!

The sound and lighting student worker position is responsible for running the sound and lighting for our performances at HUHS. Duties of the position include setting up before concerts, and the breakdown afterward.

The custodian student worker position hours are 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Wednesdays from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Duties of the position include cleaning table tops, windows, and the cafeteria, along with vacuuming, and recycling.

What an awesome first concert of the year it was last week! We sure do have some talented students here at HUHS.
Congratulations Cross-Country Teams
Last Saturday, October 22, during the Slinger sectional, Maddie Roell ran the course at Heritage Trails Park where she finished 12th and was one of five individual qualifiers for the state meet. Also, CONGRATULATIONS to Nash Merklein who finished FIRST at the meet! Our boy's cross country team won the sectional to also qualify for the state meet that will be held in Wisconsin Rapids on Saturday, October 29! GO ORIOLES.

Manufacturing & Trade Career Expo
Our Technology and Engineering Education Department and Student Service Team sponsored a field trip to the Manufacturing & Trade Career Expo at the Washington County Fair Park last week. Over 40 HUHS students go to meet with local businesses, participated in demos, and discussed employment opportunities.
Principles of Officiating
Yesterday was an exciting day for Ms. Shelsta's Principles of Officiating students! Kate Peterson-Abiad, Assistant Director of the WIAA, and Todd Rusniak, Gregg Dati, and Ken Schimpf, top basketaball officials from the state presented to the class, helped with drills, and answered questions.
FFA Pumpkin Carving Contest
At the last Future Farmers of America meeting, they carved pumpkins. How cute are these!
