Staff Appreciation Week

Mr. Walters, HUHS Superintendent said, "It has been great to celebrate Staff Appreciation Week the last few days here at Hartford Union High School. I am grateful to be a part of our team, and am most appreciative for all of our staff that makes HUHS a great place to learn and play each day."

May Rotary Students of the Month

Congratulations to Helen Wilson and Leah Schultze who were recognized as the Hartford Rotary Club's May Students of the Month at the May 8th School Board Meeting.

Show your Oriole pride! Order your 2023 Graduate Yard Signs here.

We Appreciate our School Nurse

May 10th was National School Nurse Day. Please join us in honoring our School Nurse, Ms. Hecker, and all school nurses who are making a difference in the lives of students. Every day they protect and promote student health, facilitate optimal development, and advance academic success.

Staff Spotlight

Congratulations to Ms. Glorioso who was nominated for her dedication to her work and the students here at HUHS, for being a very good supervisor, and for always filling in wherever she is needed with a smile and a positive attitude.

She said, "One of the best things about working at HUHS is working directly with the students and getting to know them. Seeing all of their achievements as they become young adults is very rewarding. Another great part of HUHS is the staff. While the kitchen team is definitely the best and I couldn't do any part of my job with them, all of the staff in the building are very supportive and great to work with. I love that I get to come here each day."

Nominate HUHS Employees
You can nominate ANY employee working at HUHS to be recognized via our Staff Spotlight campaign! In addition to our amazing teachers, you can also nominate anyone on our office staff, administration, learning support, custodial, technology, food services, student services, and campus support teams! Also, be sure not to forget about our athletic trainers, school resource officer, coaches, student drivers, and everyone in between.

Please join us in showing your appreciation for HUHS employees by nominating your favorite to be recognized here!

Intro to Art Project

Our Intro to Art students are so creative and talented! They worked in partners to build a fantasy or hybrid creature that combined physical traits from 3 or more animals. First, they collected images to use as a reference for their design, and then after building the armature, they covered it with paper mache and paint.

Welcome to the Team

Please join us in welcoming Ms. Trapp who will be replacing Ms. Jocham as she enjoys a very well-deserved retirement. Ms. Trapp has worked at both the West Bend and Germantown School Districts. She lives in Hartford with her husband, two boys, and her Chiweenie named Lola. They've been Hartford residents for almost 7 years now and they love everything about its small-town feel. Ms. Trapp enjoys being active outdoors hiking, kayaking, biking, camping, and downhill skiing. She's super excited to be an Oriole! Welcome, Ms. Trapp.
