HAPPY NEW YEAR!
JANUARY 2022 MONTHLY LETTER
In this world system everyone wants to be exalted at any cost but that is not the way of the kingdom of God. Man may exalt you but at the end they bring you down, the same way they lifted you up. You must understand that exaltation comes from the Lord and only Him, no one else! The word of God says that the man that exalts himself is not wise. It’s far better to be exalted by God than man; this the true exaltation!
We have an example of humility from our Lord Jesus. He humbled himself and was exalted by the Father, let’s follow His example.
Philippians 2:5-9 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name.
Jesus came from heaven to do the will of the Father; the son of God came to serve mankind. You see, Jesus first humbled himself, and then after He did the will of the Father, He was exalted by him. This is the picture of humiliation before exaltation. When Jesus was here in this earth, He never looked for exaltation of man, neither did He exalt himself.
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
This is the way of the Kingdom; you must humble yourself doing the will of God, like Jesus did. First, humility and then exaltation.
Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.
Pride causes a person to fall. I have seen with my very own eyes, men exalting themselves even at the cost of other people suffering, but at the end, they fall!
Proverbs 18:12 Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, And before honor is humility.
Pride only brings dishonor.
Luke 18:14 for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
Do not forget this, humble yourself before God and He will exalt you!
