Important HUPO 2021 World Congress Announcement
After closely monitoring the COVID 19 pandemic global risk assessment by the World Health Organization, on behalf of the HUPO Executive Committee, we wish to share with you that the HUPO 2021 annual congress, originally scheduled for October 24-28, 2021 in Stockholm, Sweden will take place as a hybrid congress on November 15-19, 2021 with an anticipated opportunity for an in-person networking component in Stockholm, Sweden if conditions allow.
While HUPO Connect 2020 was a great success as a virtual congress, the feedback we have received suggests we are all keen to meet in person again. The decision to postpone this year’s congress to November was made to increase the chance of having an in-person component to complement the virtual offering. So, building on the success of HUPO’s first virtual meeting ‘HUPO Connect 2020’, we are organizing HUPO ReCONNECT 2021.
We will continue to closely monitor WHO, local and national health and travel recommendations in hopes of offering a safe, in-person networking component.
Whether fully virtual or with an in-person component, we are aiming to provide the best HUPO congress ever. With an exciting scientific program, strong Early Career Researcher (ECR) involvement, and innovative virtual networking opportunities, you won’t want to miss HUPO ReCONNECT 2021!
