How HVAF and other community partners housed homeless veteran
Here at HVAF, we cannot do what we do alone.

Thankfully, we have several community partners such as VOA, Veterans Affairs, and the Gene B. Glick Company.... and together, we all were able to serve and house Marine veteran Michael Holliday.

Find out more about how we helped Michael find a home:
For nearly a year, HVAF and Glick Company have partnered to house homeless veterans in our community.

Glick is dedicated to housing veterans in honor of its founder and sought a partnership with a veteran agency, HVAF of Indiana, to complete this endeavor.

Through innovative funding, tenancy support services and relaxed tenant requirements, HVAF and Glick have partnered to house veterans and recently expanded the pilot project beyond the original 15 units. This pilot program is already showing positive results, reducing the time it takes to house the community’s most vulnerable veterans.

This past week, HVAF's Bryan Dysert and Glick's Sarah Wood presented on their at the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans Annual Conference in Washington, D.C.

Indy Eleven hosts HVAF for community partnership game night
For the second year in a row, Indy Eleven has partnered with HVAF to show support for our veterans.

On May 18, the team hosted us at Lucas Oil where we were able to tell their fans all about our story and mission! HVAF staff had fun hanging out and playing games with the fans at our information table. At at pre-game, HVAF board member Rick Penny was honored with a ceremonial scarf.

We even had one of our former veterans, Whitney, honored on the field because of the his hard work and dedication to living a clean, self-sufficient life. His family joined him as he was recognized as the "Hero of the Game."
We are now on Amazon!
We have created a profile on Amazon so you can see what our greatest needs are at the moment.

This is such an easy and convenient way to see what we need for our pantry, and purchase immediately. You can even have it shipped directly to our headquarters!

Easy AND it helps our veterans... what a win, win!
