Emergency Kits on Sale
Our TK-2 grades are heading back to school... And just like in a "normal" year, those returning to campus will need to bring their Emergency Kit on the first day back.

Most pre-packaged Kits are good for 5 years, so if you have yours from last year (and know where you stashed it!), those Kits can be used again this year.

If you don't have your old one or are a new student, HVPTO is still able to offer Emergency Kits for our families to buy - head over to the HVPTO Store and order yours for $15. Emergency Kits ordered from HVPTO will be delivered directly to your child's classroom.

Young At Art - Project #3
Young at Art Presents Project 3: Tiny Landscapes.

This project is intended to educate students on the components of a successful landscape, while also exploring the value of presentation itself. During the creation of the piece we'll discuss the intention of a landscape: to create "a place" and we want that place to be interesting so the viewers can imagine themselves standing in that place. We'll cover the 3 components of every landscape: background, foreground and middle ground, as well as some elements of "perspective" that we're NOT using that make this a "Folk" Landscape. To take everything a step further, we'll go into creating an experience for the viewer through presentation.

For more info on the project, please click here.

Little League Registration Now Open
We are thrilled to announce Hermosa Beach Little League has opened registration for Spring 2021. All Hermosa boys and girls, ages 5-15 are invited/encouraged to join us this season. We are not collecting payment until we are 100% certain that practices can begin.

We will be focused on keeping everyone safe with new protocols including distancing, face masks and hand sanitizing to name a few. We're also going to take some extra time this season to train our volunteer coaches to make sure the drills/training provided are designed to keep things fun and exciting while still staying safe.

Our ultimate goal is to get Hermosa kids back to Clark Baseball Field, getting some exercise, and reminding them how fun baseball can be. Sign up now HERE!
