We’re gearing up for our next round of Party Book events and would love to hear from anyone interested in hosting.

Party Book events are community-hosted experiences created by our families, with 100% of ticket sales benefiting our school. From social gatherings to family fun, food, fitness, and more, there’s something for everyone.

As we plan ahead for February and April Party Book drops, we’re hoping to lock in hosts early to keep the momentum going. If you’re interested, please take a moment to fill out this Party Book Request Form with your idea and preferred dates.

The HBCSD is excited to announce its first annual Multicultural Week, taking place February 2nd - February 6th celebrating culture, community, and belonging across our Hermosa Schools.

The week will culminate in Multicultural Night on Thursday, February 5th, from 6-8pm in the Hermosa Valley MPR.

Families and community members are invited to host a culture table that highlights a country, region, or tradition through decorations, flags, photos, artifacts, games, music, cultural clothing, and optional food samples. Tables may be simple or interactive, and all approaches are welcome.

If you are interested in hosting a cultural table, please SIGN UP HERE by Tuesday, January 20, at 5pm.

Parents/Guardians: If you haven't already done so, please make sure to complete the Intent to Return Form in your PowerSchool Parent Portal by Friday, January 30th.

A separate form must be completed for each child who is currently enrolled in the District. If needed, you can review the PowerSchool Parent Portal Directions to create or reset your password. We appreciate our HVS families completing this form.

New Student Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year is NOW OPEN for grades TK-8th at HBCSD.ORG. If a family resides outside of Hermosa Beach and is interested in applying for an interdistrict attendance permit to attend a Hermosa school, please click here for more information. Current students returning to our Hermosa Schools next year will be required to complete registration paperwork that will be available in the summer of 2026.
