HABERSHAM CHAMBER ANNOUNCES
2023 BOARD OF DIRECTORS, OFFICERS


The Habersham Chamber of Commerce has named its 2023 Board of Directors and appointed Clayton Foster, Habersham Broadcasting Company, as Chairman.

In addition, two local business and community leaders have been elected to serve alongside the existing board.

“The incoming board consists of the most diverse collection of talented individuals and industries from throughout the region," explains Chamber President, Mary Beth Horton. "This is especially important because we must have a team that represents everyone within our community in order to achieve the vision for what we aspire to be as a business community.

Leslie Foster, North Georgia Technical College; Tommy Thurmond, Habersham EMC, Clayton Franklin, Fieldale Farms; Jessie Owensby, City of Cornelia; Guy Ramos, Headwaters Realty, Susan Ramsey, Trinity Classical School; Addie Aycock, Hames & Co.

New Board members are Matt Hayes, Hayes of Baldwin; and Patrick Franklin, Habersham County School System.

The Habersham Chamber of Commerce currently serves over 500 member businesses in Habersham County and the surrounding communities. Agriculture Day at Leadership Habersham!

The class participated in an ag-themed program on Wednesday, October 19th.
The program included site visits to Jaemor Farm where they heard from Gilbert Barrett, Farm Bureau, Caroline Lewallen, teXga Farms and Drew Echols, Jaemor Farms.

Then they visited Sweet Acre Farms Winery, followed by a stop at the Fieldale pullet farm and a tour of the Clarkesville Greenway.
