Building Greener with Southern California Edison & GRID Alternatives
Southern California Edison volunteers joined nonprofit organization, GRID Alternatives, to install solar panels pro bono for four Habitat LA partner families in Montebello this past July.

The Habitat House Always Wins at St. Monica’s 9th Annual Casino Night
On August 11, 2018, St. Monica’s will host its 9th annual Casino Night fundraiser! Proceeds will assist the Habitat LA Catholic Coalition in reaching their goal to construct a very special home in Culver City for Kaoru Mulvihill, a hard-working single mother of four sons, the youngest of whom lives with cerebral palsy.

August Volunteer of the Month: Pok Khem
Pok Khem  is our August Volunteer of the Month and has been working with Habitat LA since October 2017. He first started volunteering through a build day with his company and returned after seeing the direct impact his work would have on families who needed permanent housing.  

New ReStore Hosts NAPO Business Partner Showcase
Our newest ReStore, located in Los Angeles on La Brea Ave., hosted a Business Partner Showcase presented by the LA chapter of National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO-LA). 

Griffin Capital Hosts Employee ‘Day of Service’
