CEO Corner: Look What We're Building Together

Collin County, you never cease to amaze us!

Right now, we're gearing up construction to welcome 11 families into brand new homes of their own through our next two phases at Kings Row - with a mortgage they can manage, a neighborhood to settle into, and a place that's truly theirs. Each one of those families is counting on this community to show up, and if you know Collin County, you know it will.

We're also kicking off a full home reconstruction on Garcia Street for the Lewis family who will get their keys this fall. This is a project that represents everything we stand for: a safe home, a stable foundation, and a family ready to thrive.

If you've been looking for a way to be part of it, now is a great time. A gift of any size helps us keep building. And if you'd like to stay connected to this mission all year long, we're launching the Habitat Hope Crew, a monthly giving program designed for people just like you. Keep an eye on our website and social channels next week for details on how to join.

None of this happens without you. Thank you for everything you make possible in this community. We don't take it for granted - not for a single nail, not for a single family.

With gratitude, Stephannie

Stay tuned—big things are coming, and we can’t wait for you to become part of it.

Volunteer Partnership Spotlight: The Dawoodi Bohras Community

We recently welcomed 24 volunteers from the local The Dawoodi Bohras community as part of their Project Rise initiative. They jumped right in, supporting our ReStore team, cleaning up the perimeter and construction areas, and helping re‑roof three playhouses. Their kindness, teamwork, and enthusiasm were a gift to our Habitat team. (They even invited us to share their lunch with them!) We’re excited for the opportunity to work with them again.

Homeowner Spotlight: Cecilia Ayala

Cecilia dreamed of a safe place where her daughter could grow up without fear. With the support of our donors and volunteers, she and her daughter found that place — a home of their own.

This spring, we'll break ground on new homes for families right here in Collin County. Your gift today helps more women like Cecilia write a new chapter, one built on strength and security.

Here’s how your gift can help TODAY:

  • $25 buys building materials
  • $50 helps with homebuilding support
  • $100 helps cover construction costs
  • $250 brings a family one step closer to a mortgage

"Thank you for the effort and generosity to help our community and people like me."
 — Cecilia Ayala, Habitat Homeowner
