The COVID outbreak is affecting everyone. Staying home, balancing priorities, and facing each new day with uncertainty… we are all living in challenging times. At Habitat for Humanity of Martin County, we are not immune to the impact. Our ReStores and construction sites are closed to the public, we can't work with our wonderful volunteers, and our day-to-day operations are greatly impacted.
Habitat is a community-based organization, and during these past few weeks, we've been touched by the generosity of our local community who has reached out to ask: "How can we help?"
Right now our focus remains on supporting our hardworking, local partner families who are struggling right now.
We know that stable, affordable housing is more important than ever before, and are working hard to ensure that our partner families can still achieve their dream of homeownership this year.
For those of us blessed to be inside our safe homes during these unusual times, please extend a hand up to others in our community who don't have this same comfort. Here are ways you can help
