Will you consider Macomb Habitat in your year-end giving?
Macomb County Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. The stability of homeownership allows families to further their education and watch their children thrive.

Through your continued support we have been able to provide 316 children and
187 adults the opportunity to live in affordable housing and make positive life changes.

Will you help us provide hope to a local family in need?
Blog: December: A Season to Remember
December is a very personal month in so many ways for families. Each of us has some memory of a celebration, a loved one, a special recipe, or a tradition that matters. Our non-profit organization, though a business, is also a family. And our family looks back and remembers the wonderful things that happened during the year.

Faith Partner Spotlight
King of kings Lutheran Church (Shelby Township) hosted their 9 th Annual Chili Cook-off in November to benefit Macomb County Habitat for Humanity. This year the chili cook-off was enhanced with a pie auction that helped raise a record donation of more than $1,300 to Macomb Habitat, all coordinated by Sandy Sylvester. Besides great chili and pie, there was good music and fellowship. Check out this enthusiastic congregation led by Rev. Dave Parker, just north of 21 Mile Road on Schoenherr.

Volunteer News
Our Fourth Thrivent Builds Repairs Project included repairing and replacement of a deck for a resident on Riviera Ct. in Sterling Heights. Monnencia Riley from Thrivent Financial recruited a team to keep this partnership going. Ensuring safety for homeowners in projects like this is a critical mission of our Brush with Kindness program, which we hope to expand in 2018 as we gather more funding.
Renovation continues at 11076 Dodge in Warren as we provide volunteers for painting and repair efforts for this home for the Chatman family. Besides a team from FCA in Warren, groups of volunteers from Mike Morse Law Firm and Hubbell, Roth & Clark filled dumpsters and did exterior painting.
